Southern Reflections

Several times, during many conversations at the Southern Manufacturing Show last week, I was asked if we had remained humble over the last 24 months during the difficult allocation time in the industry.

I was being asked by Industry professionals who had some negative feedback of the way allocation was handled in general which left a lasting impact.

Thankfully, the industry is recovering well with product availability, over-inflated prices, onerous contract terms and NCNR orders no longer at the forefront of everyone’s mind, and manufacturing delays becoming less and less common.

These conversations, negative stories, and the general feeling around allocation, really made me think about the entire period and how we handled it.

SeSemi have several core values, and these core values took centre stage for how we handled allocation. The feedback we received from our customers was really rewarding for the team after such a challenging time, highlighting the commitment and determination we displayed throughout.

We stayed true to ourselves, true to our loyal customers, and provided a service with the upmost integrity.

In reflection, I am so very proud to reply – Yes we stayed humble and will continue to do so.
